I've recorded a cover of Little Arrow's track "Easy Now" for the 10 year anniversary record Music, Masks & Poems out on Bubblewrap Records now. In 2018 William Hughes (Little Arrow) died of cancer. I’d known Will for over 10 years as we put out 'Heaviside Layer’ by Fredrick Stanley Star (Will’s first band) on Shape Records in 2008. Just like Music, Masks and Poems, it is a beautiful record.
Thanks to my wife and long term collaborator, Emma for recording it and singing it with me. It wasn't a straightforward process as we both found it quite overwhelming to do. Will had so much soul and an amazing powerful voice and to sing his words was a real undertaking. I could really feel his presence when I was doing it.
